Terms of Service

Last updated: June 29, 2026

Hi, and welcome. We're Hey Good Game — the people behind the daily puzzles you're (hopefully) here to play. This page is the agreement between you and Hey Good Game, Inc. ("Hey Good Game," "we," or "us") about how you use our games and websites, including hey.gg, pairdown.com, queensultimate.com, and the other sites and games we run (together, the "Services").

We've kept this as short and readable as we honestly could. A few parts have to sound like a contract — those are the ones courts actually care about — and we've tried not to bury them. By using the Services, you're agreeing to these terms. If you don't agree, no hard feelings, but please don't use the Services.

1. Who We Are

The Services are run by Hey Good Game, Inc., a Delaware corporation at 1151 Walker Rd #310, Dover, DE 19904. Questions about these terms? Email us at support@hey.gg.

2. Who Can Use This

You can play most of our games without an account at all. If you'd like to make one, you'll need to be at least 13. The Services are built for a general audience and aren't aimed at kids under 13.

Some places set a higher age for online consent (parts of the EU use 16) — if that's you, you'll need to meet your local minimum or have a parent or guardian's okay. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13; if you think we have, email support@hey.gg and we'll take care of it.

3. Your Account

Plenty of our games work with no sign-up at all. If you'd like an account anyway:

  • Signing up. Two ways in: register directly with your email, or use Google sign-in. If you go the Google route, their terms and privacy practices apply too, and we only get the info you let them share.

  • Your username. Pick something that isn't offensive, misleading, impersonating someone, or stepping on anyone's rights. We may reclaim usernames that cross those lines.

  • Keeping it secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your login to yourself — and tell us if something looks off.

  • It's yours to leave. You can reset your stats or delete your account whenever you want, from your settings or by emailing us.

4. Playing Fair

The short version: play fair, and don't break our stuff. More specifically, please don't:

  • Cheat, hack, automate, or otherwise fake scores, streaks, or leaderboards.

  • Use bots or scrapers to pull our puzzles, content, or data, or to hammer the Services with traffic.

  • Reverse-engineer or take apart the Services, except where the law says you're allowed to anyway.

  • Share accounts, exploit bugs, or mess with how the Services run for everyone else.

  • Use the Services to break the law, infringe someone's rights, or harass or harm other people.

  • Get around our security, rate limits, or access controls.

If someone's doing these things, we may step in — removing content, limiting access, or closing accounts as needed.

5. What We Own

Our games — the code, the art, the words, the puzzles, the logos and trademarks — belong to Hey Good Game, Inc. or the folks who license to us. We're giving you a personal, limited license to enjoy them: play all you like, for your own non-commercial fun.

What you can't do is copy, sell, redistribute, or build your own thing out of our content, beyond what these terms or the law allow. (Sharing your result image or linking a friend to today's puzzle the normal way the game gives you? Always fine — that's the whole point.)

6. What You Share

If the Services let you post something — a username, a comment, whatever — it's still yours. You're just giving us permission to host and show it as part of running and promoting the Services, and confirming it's actually yours to share and doesn't break these terms. We can take down anything that does.

7. Ads and Other Companies

Free games run on ads, and we lean on a few outside companies to make the Services work — ad partners, analytics, and Google for sign-in.

  • Our ad partners may use cookies or similar tech to show and measure ads. How they handle data is governed by their own policies, and many let you opt out. Our Privacy Policy has the details and links.

  • We're not responsible for other companies' content, products, or practices, including advertisers and wherever their ads might lead.

Using those third-party services is at your own risk and under their terms.

8. The "As Is" Part

We work hard to keep the games up, but we can't promise perfection. Servers hiccup. Now and then a streak vanishes into the void, and we are genuinely as sad about that as you are. So, in the language we need to use here:

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that your stats and streaks will always survive. Some places don't allow certain exclusions, so a few of these may not apply to you.

9. Limits on What We Owe You

This is the other clause our lawyers insist stays formal — and for a free product, it's mostly about keeping a small problem from turning into a ruinous one:

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HEY GOOD GAME, INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICES, THIRD-PARTY CONDUCT, OR ADVERTISING — EVEN IF WE'VE BEEN TOLD IT WAS POSSIBLE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS (FOR FREE SERVICES, THAT'S $0) OR (B) USD $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

10. Covering Each Other

If your use of the Services — or your breaking of these terms — lands us in a legal mess that's genuinely on you, you agree to cover us (Hey Good Game and our team) for the resulting claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs.

11. Ending Things

You can walk away anytime — just stop playing (we'll miss you). We may suspend or close accounts, with or without notice, if someone breaks these terms or we need to protect the Services or other players — think score manipulation, harassment, that kind of thing. A few sections are built to outlive the account (5, 8, 9, 10, 13, and 14), and they do.

12. Changes to These Terms

We'll update these now and then. If we change something meaningful, we'll move the "Last updated" date and give reasonable notice where it makes sense — a note on the Services, or an email if you've got an account. Keep using the Services after a change takes effect, and you're accepting the new version.

13. If There's a Dispute

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, setting aside its conflict-of-laws rules. Honestly, we'd rather you just email us first — most things sort out faster that way.

If something can't be worked out, you and Hey Good Game agree that any dispute about these terms or the Services goes exclusively to the state or federal courts in New Castle County, Delaware, and you agree those courts have jurisdiction over you.

14. The Fine Print

  • The whole deal. These terms, plus our Privacy Policy, are the full agreement between us about the Services, and they replace anything earlier.

  • If one part fails. If a court tosses one provision, the rest still stand.

  • No accidental free passes. If we don't enforce something right away, we haven't given it up.

  • Handing it off. You can't transfer these terms without our okay; we may transfer them as part of a merger or sale.

  • Acts of god (and outages). We're not on the hook for delays caused by things beyond our reasonable control.

  • Reaching you. We may send notices by posting on the Services or emailing your account address.
